Help with CIA Post-audit policy
I don't know if anyone can help or not but it is worth a try and i will keep it as brief as possible-
Basically i was denied my green card because one of my checks was not cleared by my 21st birthday so i 'aged out'. We later found out it was my CIA check. Everything else had come back fine they were just waiting for this. It was brought to our attention there was a post-audit policy that protected non immigrants on K2 or any other non immigrant visas, from ageing out because of delays with CIA checks. We hired a lawyer to help us with this and the INS are telling us that at the time of my application the policy had been recinded. Our lawyer later found out there was no such memorandum recinding this post-audit policy but INS are still sticking to their guns.
Does anyone know anything about this topic? I would be extremly greatful for some advice or help.

Sounds like a case for the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman
