Get the essential stuff out of the way first, then have fun. I got married 4 years ago, spent the wedding night in our apartment and still haven't had a honeymoon because we were getting all the paperwork done. Next year though, we will do something fancy. Plus, you'll probably have more money in the future and be able to have a better vacation with no worries.

Ditto what Duncan said. We also didn't have a real honeymoon, we used the money and time to file the USCIS paperwork and get our real lives started. It's three years later and still haven't had *THE Honeymoon*, but we have a great life, and are now planning that romantic trip to Hawaii, probably late this year or early next year. To each his own.

And she's out of status too.......... You'd think getting married and filing the paperwork would be top of the list...
