My honey and I will be getting married saturday. We started into planning a wedding and decided to go with a very simple wedding with a few friends. My family and relatives live far away, so neither my fiance or myself will have family members present.

My fiance brought her wedding dress from the philippines, which saved us big bucks. We are doing our own decorating, and since my parents owned a flower business when I was growing up, I still remember how to arrange flowers.

I got a regular cake from safeway, since anytime you put the name "wedding" in front of something, the price goes way up. I figure cake is cake so what the heck. We are going to make some punch and I think I will just get some buckets of chicken from KFC. So.. we are just having a low budget affair here.

I will post a couple of pics of the wedding after saturday.

Booger wrote on another forum that he "was in heaven". I have to echo those comments. I still can't believe she is really here. There is an end to the waiting. Keep the faith, it is worth the wait. Don't give up and your day will come.

I, for one, love the sound of your wedding day! We are going to do something very similar.

We´re talking about getting married in the middle of a state forest. Catering ourselves. And as guests just our kids and some close friends.

My mum is too old to make the journey and his parents would tear each other apart if in the same room!
