Default g325a biographic info

Hi

Im newly married and we're starting the process for aos, and the many forms that go with it - I130, g325a, I765, I485, I864, and Advance Parole.

An easy question i hope - can you advise whether i should be putting Uk or England as the country, and also on the g325a form is it being submitted in connection with naturalization, status as a permanent resident, or other?

I hope this doesnt sound too silly, but i dont want to make any mistakes!

thanks for any help, im sure i have a million more questions to come

- also, on date & place of marriage, do they just want city and state, or actual location, like Holiday Inn, or name of Church?

I believe UK is correct here.

I believe it is submitted in support of an application to adjust status.

Ian answered your other questions, and they want city and state of your marriage.

Welcome to the forum!

Thank you both for replying so quickly!

The form is going with the I130 form, so do i tick other, and write its for a petition for alien relative? Its all so confusing!

Whatever the answer, i assume my husband will put the same on his form too?

I dont think i have a file number, 'A number', so do I write none - and the same for my husband?

thanks in advance for your help

You can just draw a little line through that box, or write none. Either way. The G-325A is not looked at very carefully anyway, from what I hear. It's an old form and not as critical as it used to be. Just fill it out to the best of your ability and don't stress over that one.

Best Wishes,
Rene

I would recommend that you have a look at a copy of "Fiance and Marriage Visas. A Couples Guide to US Immigration" by Nolo Press. It includes example forms that will answer most if not all of your questions. It also has some useful info that I haven't seen on the forum. Besides that do keep posting as you can never have to much information.

I wonder about how one can file AOS, if not in United States. If it is in connection w/I-130 check "Other"and say petition for alien relative, thats what I-130 is.
