Default G-325a question

Dear Group,
My fiancee lives in Thailand (we are preparing a I-129f and G325a
now), and they don't use Roman letters in their alphabet, and this
prompts me to ask:
1) in the set of boxes for her father's and her mother's information,
she must write their names and place of residence, etc. Would she
write these in Thai? I would guess that it would it be okay to write a
phonetically correct English spelling(?)
2) on the bottom of the form it says "SIGNATURE OF APPLICANT." Would
she sign her name in her native Thai alphabet or in the English
spelling of her name?
3)What would she write in the box called, "APPLICANT'S LAST ADDRESS
OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES OF MORE THAN ONE YEAR"?
She has always lived in Thailand...so...what would she write? I'm
confused about this one because it appears to be directed at US
citizens...
One more please, since I have your ear
4)"THIS FORM IS SUBMITTED IN CONNECTION WITH APPLICATION FOR:"
What would we check? I'm guessing "OTHER," but what would be the
correct thing to write? "fiancee visa?"

Thank you kindly for taking the time,
Dusty

Hey Dusty,

I dunno about filling forms in alphabets different from roman letters, so I'll just limit myself to answer what I think I know for a fact.

2) she signs her signature the way she signs official/legal documents anywhere in the world. and then below it, she writes down her name in her native alphabet.

3) just her latest address, where she lives now

4) i checked other and then wrote k-1 next to it

Hi Dusty,

Here's what we did on ours:

1. It's ok to use phonetic English for her parents' information.

2. My fiance signed the bottom of the form with his signature in his native language, and printed his name in English.

3. her current address is her last address outside the states (I was confused by that one, too)

4. In connection with....an I-129F petition for fiancee visa (K-1).

Hope that helps answer your questions...
Best Wishes!
Rene

Dusty,

1) and 2) The forms should be filled out with all information written in the Roman alphabet unless specifically requested otherwise. That would be line B.17 of the I-129f and the box underneath "Signature of Applicant" on her I-129f

3) About applicant's last address outside the US of more than one year - read it slowly and literally. It's really a very simple question. What addresses did you write in the section immediately above where it asks for her residences for the last 5 years? Pick the one that is most recent AND she has been there for more than 1 year AND is outside the US.

4) Yes

Regards, JEff
