Default fyi: AOS timeline in Chicago

I was told from a friend of mine that INS Chicago on Dec 2002
was processing March 2001 AOS Applications, so that's about
a 2 year delay. Supposedly they were doing ok, until a freeze
that happened sometimes in the past.

Thanks for posting that. I'll be sending off my AOS to Chicago next week, and it's good to have an idea of how they're doing.

Peace,

D.

Thanks so much for the information.

We applied June 2001 and no word yet but what you say gives us some
idea of where we are.

Thank you again.

Best regards

Julia

I started everything Jan 2001, got my EAD about 45 days
later, and fp about March time. I applied for 2nd Ead early
december, and it expired early february, and still have to
hear from INS, though planning to give them a visit on the
90th day, I applied 60 days before

I started adjustment of status August 98, and finally got the final interview
on July 2001. Plastic green card came in June 2002, after I had to contact
Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. In 2 weeks it was in my mail box.
