frozen molasses still faster than CSC I129F processing?
This is part question, and part rant...
Question -
I saw the numbers posted from the 2/1/03 report on Matt Udall's web
site and immigration.com. It looks like CSC hasn't moved beyond
11/19/02 (where they were at the 1/1/03 report). Comparing the
numbers, it looks like just about everything else had movement, and
the El Salvador processing is current. So does anyone have any info on
what's been happening in the last two or three weeks? Has anyone with
a NOA date after 11/19/02 heard anything?
Rant -
This is frustrating for me because we had all our paperwork ready to
go back at the end of October, but were delayed by slow postal service
(it took 8 weeks for her paperwork to get here longer than anyone she
knows has ever experienced for a simple packet of papers), and now
that we finally did submit, they're not working on anything.

This is what I know:
CSC : Case Delays Due to Processing Priorities
We at The Law Office of Sheela Murthy are frequently asked by our clients, as
well as by those on the MurthyChat and MurthyForum, "Why does my case take so
long to process at INS?" There are many possible causes, but often it is due to
the INS' occasional need to shift personnel, referred to as "resources" in INS
parlance, from one section to another in order to address a mandated deadline
or other urgency. This is currently the situation at the California Service
Center (CSC).
At the end of January 2003, the CSC disclosed that they have shifted many of
their adjudications personnel to I-765 Applications filed by El Salvadorian
Temporary Protected Status (TPS) applicants. With a deadline of March 9, 2003
to adjudicate these cases, they will be top priority until that time. Given
this shifting of priorities, it can be expected that some of the processing
times for other types of filings will suffer further backlogs.
The Vermont Service Center made a similar announcement, which is covered in our
article, VSC Update : January 21, 2003, also published in this week's
MurthyBulletin.
Although, at the time of this writing, the other service centers have not made
comparable announcements, it is likely that they will similarly adjust to meet
the deadline. More information on the El Salvadorian TPS program is available
on the INS WebSite.

if its any help you to, someone made a post about someone with a first NOA of nov.21st being approved on the 11. if thats true it means they have moved beyond the 19th. this would make sense as it says the tps is current on the JIT report. chin up, im really hoping they are moving right along.
