Filing for spouse (form details)

I'm a citizen filing a petition for my foreign-born wife.
1.) Can I put her name down as her married name on all the forms and put her maiden
name down as 'also known as'? We'd like her to be naturalized with her married name
but her passport is still in her maiden name.
2). If I make a mistake on a form, is it okay to white-out it and write over it, or
do I need to start again?
Thanks for any help.....

To clarify the question about my wife's name. Can I put my name down as her family
name? - even though all her official documents have her maiden name, because we were
married fairly recently.

Yes, she can use her married name on the I-130/I-485 forms. The marriage certificate
serves as the legal basis for this.

It is O.K. to use white-out, for INS forms.
