Default Filing I-485 before I-130 approval

I have a question. I am a PR with separate peding I-130 for my wife and my
kid. I am applying for naturalization. Question is, if N-400 is approved can
I file for PR (through AOS) for my wife and kid before I-130 is approved?

Thanks!

Hi,
Yes, you should be able, once you are a US citizen to file AOS (I-485
package) at your local INS office, even though I130s are still pending
at the Service Center.
Good luck

Thanks Corina. Then I have another question. Which "Application Type" does
one choose in this case. Tye listed types are:
I am aplying because:
a. an immigrant petitin giving me an immediately available immigrant visa
number has been approved......
b. my spouse applied for adjustment.......
c. I entered as K-1....
d....
etc..

Notice that category a. above that should applied says petition "approved".

Please anyone let me know!

Category a. is the correct box. At the time that the I-485 is adjudicated,
the I-130 (filed concurrently with it) will have been approved, even if only
one minute before the I-485 is adjudicated.
