Filing AOS for K3'er in Boston
Guys,
My wife entered the US on May 12th under the K3 VISA. Subsequently, we filed for the I-765 through MSC, got it approved and got the EAD in hand. We've applied for her SSN and should be getting it in a couple of days.
The next step is the AOS. And I want to make sure that I understand this correctly. As it currently stands, Boston doesn't accept I-485 filings by mail, only in person.
So my wife and I have to go to the Boston office as early as humanly possible, get a number, file our paperwork and then get notified of our interview date sometime in the future. Is this how it's going to work?
Now does it make a difference if I (USC husband) go to submit the paperwork with my wife or my father/brother goes? Do they expect that the USC spouse will show up, and have questions for them??
Regards
