Forget about NYC timelines. There is nothing there but mass confusion and a district office that is taking petitions out of sequence. People who filed in spring of 2003 are currently assigned interview dates for June and July of 2004 while people who filed in 2001 and 2002 are still waiting.
So my suggestion would be for you and your wife to get on with enjoying your newlywed status and forget about timelines and the AOS interview for the time being. Concentrate on EADs and A/Ps and having fun. The rest will take care of itself in due time.
