Our petition was at the NVC for 5 days (including a weekend) - the NVC said they sent it to London on 4th August but I still haven't had Packet 3 yet

I am also wondering if the forms are a bit different. Who is sending photos with the DS-230, by the way? I am wondering whether to or not, there is a space for it. What did others do?

Not having gone through it yet but going by what others have said I think you're supposed to bring the pics with you and they put it on the DS-230 when you bring them to the interview. I'm pretty sure that's how you do it. Lutzie above said that the DS230 is a bit different. Have you emailed the consulate to ask if they've received your petition and sent the packet 3 yet? I would.

Carey, I did email them two days ago, but they said it can take two to three weeks to receive petitions from the NVC. So I am just sitting waiting really.

A couple of the questions where in reversed order on the DS230 part 1, so not to temp any set-up that they may have for matching up questions with answers LuTziE felt it safer to fill out the one they sent in packett #3. He sent the ds back signed but without the photos. Those he brought with him to the interview and they had him afix them to the Ds230 himself.

Would I be correct in stating that every single I 129 F goes through NVC? will that not cause a bottle neck?

Ours was received at NVC on Sept. 9th and was sent to London on Sept. 11th.. only 2 days there! wow! Hopefully the rest of the process will go through quickly. : )

Update, the NVC took 3 days to send it to london but that was after I and my other half both called them on the same day. So advise here is after 5 working days call them up and when you do press 1 and then 2 to speak to a person.
