Default Fast I-751 Approval (Nebraska)

Hi everyone. I haven't posted in here in quite some time, but I wanted
to share this bit of good news. My wife and I filed for her removal of
conditions on February 2, 2005. This was through the Nebraska Service
Center, so we expected the usual year or more wait. Boy were we
surprised! Yesterday we got a letter (dated 08-22-05) from the NSC,
which I thought could only be a request for more evidence. It turned
out to be an approval! We were thrilled, to say the least.

I'm not sure why we were approved so fast. I can say though that our
submission was well organized (tabbed and such) and our evidence was
fairly comprehensive, but not so much that they wouldn't dread having
to wade through it all (I believe I counted 46 pages). We didn't submit
any joint utility bills or lease agreement, since we didn't have those.
We did include three notarized affadavits from relatives, doctor bills
for each of us showing the same address, joint bank statements, cards
sent to both of us on special occassions and some photos of us (I
believe we sent 6 of these - color photo copies), among other things.

Good luck to those still waiting for a decision from Nebraska (and
elsewhere). I hope this wasn't a fluke and they're actually moving
faster overall now. Next we'll make the infopass appoint and head to
Detroit. Thanks to everyone for all the great information we get from
this group. I'll continue reading up because we file for citizenship in
february and I'll definitely be posting this on Kamya soon.

Wow. That is quick. If I recall correctly, they(NSC) were quoting
"working on August 2004" during the month of July. So it seems they
have covered the next six months of "I-751s" within a month or so.
That is good news if it is true. My I-751 (NOA date of 7/22/05) is
there too. If this is indeed not a fluke, my guess is a few officers
have been moved to adjudicate I-751s from some other petition.
