Evidence of support
Hi....i received my appointment letter for my interview in
Montreal....the packages specifies bringing EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT to the
interview....my wife already sponsored me & mailed that affadavit of
support to the INS via the NVC & the instructions say not to bring
evidence if its already submitted....do i really need to worry about
getting her to provide me with a backup of this support then to take
to the interview????
also...can anyone give me a phone # for the US Consulate in
montreal????

The I-864 and supporting documents should be presented at the interview.

The phone # for US consulate in Montreal is (514) 398-9695 Press 6
then enter ext. 3833. You can only call Mon. to Fri. from 2-4:30 pm
to ask questions regarding K1 visas. Have your case # ready - they
may ask for it.

The phone # for US consulate in Montreal is (514) 398-9695 Press 6
