Hi All,
Me and my girl have been communicating via many means, including
letters. My questions are as follows :-
1)Shud i get the letters i wrote to her also(in addition to her
letters to me which i have), when i go for my interview?
2)Do the embassy folks actually read the letters(they are all personal
stuff i mean) ?
3)I hope they dont keep our letters with them!!, as these are precious
to us in their own way.
As always, thanks in advace.
God bless all.
Warm regards,
Michael.

they would be presented at the interview and returned immediately in person,
don't worry about keeping them.... they are yours.

I would have COPIES of a few phone bills, a few emails, and a few "regular"
letters. By all means have the originals available if they should ask to see
them. I have read here people presenting 2" thick files of "proof of
relationship." However I think that is overkill. They don't want to look
through that much stuff.
Always send copies of things NEVER originals UNLESS THEY ASK FOR THE
ORIGINAL. If you read the instructions on the forms this is explained. If
you send the original and they did not ask for it, you might not get it
back. You will sign a form attesting that the copies you present are the
same as the originals, or something to that effect. If you are presenting
then at the iterview the same thing applies. Make copies, even of photos.
Just have the originals with you. They will probably want to keep a copy of
a few items for the file.
Good luck.

I had also sent him a complete copy of our I-129 as evidence of our relationship, loaded with e-mails, phone bills etc. He was never asked for any of it. They did ask him a few questions, when and how we met ect. I think LuTziE did put some of the direct questions in his thread about the day if it helps.
The evidence of the relationship part seems to weigh heavy at the I-129 stage and the interview stage is all about the I-134 with a few minor questions. But my theroy was and still is, better over perpared then under.
The hardest part about the interview that i think LuTziE would say is the time leading up to it.

This no doubt must vary from consulate to consulate, although I doubt that any of them will keep the original letters if you've brought copies (which is recommended) to leave with them.

with copys.... LuTziE just had xeroxed ones
but they wanted to see both the originals and the copys
and handed him back the orginals.

The London Embassy indicated (via an e-mail) that cards, letters etc were not of much relevance to them. They list evidence of the relationship as passport stamps, plane tickets and photo's.

Hi Rob,
oh, but my girl already submitted passport stamps when she filed
I129F. do i need to get them again from her, the xeroxes i mean? if
letters, e mails and cards are irrelevant, then i have only
photographs, will that be enough for them?
god bless all.
warm regards,
michael.
