This is one of the drawbacks to using the Fiancee Visa instead of the IR-1/CR-1. She fortunately is not at death's door and you will have your EAD/AP shortly. I would book a trip for 14 days from now and be sure it is changeable.

Hi everyone,
by some absolute miracle, my card is in the post and is heading my way to Omaha from Kentucky of all places? They said it should be here in two days which im pleased about. I'm looking at flights home for the 29th!

I sent something priority to NJ from MS on December 17 ... it got there on the 24th.

I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when I woke up and found out my EAD had traveled from Knoxville to Omaha and was sitting at the post office for me to go and pick it up! I now had my combo card in hand and will be flying home on the 30th to spend time with my grandmother and see my family for New Year! I cant wait for a good ol' fry up.
