EAD for a K1
Chris , i posted this back into the main group , so it didnt get lost in the
replies.
maybe i didnt put enough info in the post - i am a K1 awaitign interview in
London next month, and as Rob said there is a list of "friendly POE's" -
though whether this is up to date ?
Atlanta was my one to go for - but i noticed that they stopped ( confirmed
by people in this newsgroup , so i was lookign for anybody who had gone
through a POE in the last 6 months and received a stamp - becasue It seems
to me my options are
a) get married quickly, apply for adjustment of status , then wait 90 days
for full work authorisation
b) be lucky enough to get as temp work authrisation stamp at POE, so i can
work straight away - even if
that means takign a flight that is a layover / connection ( i think i can
do this ?)
option b) is a lot better, because it means less financial strain
obviously -
any more comments/ideas are appreciated!
