EAD Interview??

EAD Interview??
Quick question... We applied for AOS, AP, and EAD in Sept. Well Stephen picked up his AP yesterday from Santa Ana, and it's good for mulitiple entries until November 2005 (YAY!). NOW he has an EAD interview on December 1st, and then AOS fingerprints on Dec. 4.
My question: Is the EAD interview really an interview or are they just giving the EAD to him or do they gather some info and then mail it out to us later? Any experience here? I see lots of posts about EAD timelines but I haven't heard about any EAD interviews.

I have heard some offices do have similar to an interview to get an EAD card.

I got my EAD at SF district office, it was just go in, get my pic taken and fingerprint, then within 5 mins I had my laminated EAD card, was NOT an interview. My letter said "to pick up your EAD" did not mention any interview.
