Default EAD and Driver's license

Do all states require non-imigrants to provide an EAD to obtain a
driver's license? My wife's EAD expires next month and her driver's
license does too. There is very little chance she will get the
renewal before either happens.

Hi Brian.
I can't help you with your particular question, however if yoou phone your local DMV they should be able to help you, I've had nothing but good advice from our local one in Virginia

Well, it depends on which state but I can tell you this much:
In Texas, you need your Social Security Number (which you can get from you
EAD), a valid and unexpired driver's license and 16$ (last time I checked).

You'll need to check your requirements at the dept. of transportation for
your state.
