EAD and AOS question

EAD and AOS question

So how long on average would I be looking at for EAD to be able to
work? I'm here on 12 mth tourist visa. I need to be able to work to
pay for all these forms to be submitted plus my fiance has just gone
and bought a house. So anyones advice helps. Also does Dallas INS
office still do same day 1-130's???

Dallas never did a same day I-130. They at one time did a same day I-485 for recipients of K-1 Fiancee Visas. You cannot work until you marry your USC fiancee and apply for adjustment of status via forms I-130 and I-485 and send in the I-765 for Employment Authorization and a medical, etc. Perhaps he can do without new appliances or furnishings or whatever to spring for your fees and medical.
