What is the average time taken to get EAD from the date of filing, at Nebraska.

I had it filed one year ago...took exactly 90 days.

I have another one pending (changed status, so need new EAD), no answer yet, but receipt notice says again: 80-90 days.

I filed for 1-485 and I-190 today ( Aug 04,2004).
My H1B expires on Oct 8,2004 and which can be further extended by 5 months for full six years.

I am sure that I have to go for extension of H1B as I will not get EAD in next 90 days.

I wanted to extend the H1B on my own. I wanted to know what all documents to be submited. Do I have get the labor clearence too.
