Hello all,

I have just received my letter from the Us embassy in London with my LND number. I have started to complete the DS-260 online. I have found in the 'mailing' section that they are asking me for the address I am moving to in the. US. I do not yet know where I am moving to other than it will be Boston, MA. Do I need to have an address sorted first?

They are also asking for a US address to send my green card to. Does this have to be a US address or am I able to get it at my uk address prior to moving?

Any light you can shed on this would be very helpful.

We used a family members address for both of these items. Do you have any family of friends over there with an address you can use?

I'm fairly sure it has to be a US address for the green card too - someone will be along shortly to confirm.

No, any US address will do.

You won't get a green card until after you enter the US with your immigrant visa. It also doesn't matter what address you put here - so long as you have the correct address the day you enter the US... because at that time, you can update the info with the CBP officer who processes you at the POE.
