Default DS-230 question

Morning all.

I received my letter from the Immigrant Visa Branch in London with my LND number. In the letter it says:

" An appointment for your visa interview will not be scheduled unless we are in receipt of forms, DS-230 part I/II, checklist DS-2001, and have received the results of your medical examination"

From what I have read on this forum of other peoples experiences is that only part I of the DS-230 is sent and that part II is taken to the interview.

My question is, can anyone clarify what is the correct procedure? If you look on the US Embassy website it tells you that only part I is sent ahead of the interview

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dan

Either way will work. I only sent in part I and had no problems. They just asked for part II at the interview and asked me to sign it. Other people have sent in both parts and been presented with their part II at the interview to sign. Don't forget to take copies of everything you send in case things go missing.

I sent part 1, and then took part 2 to the interview.

Thank you all for the replies I think I'll send part I and take part II with me to the interview. I'm sure they will let me know once they receive the package if they need more

Have a nice day

Dan
