Will my wife receive a DS-156 or a DS-230 in her packet 3 from Moscow
for her K-3 visa? Thanks for your help.

My husband has his K3 visa approved in pakistan, and all he received in his packet was the DS-156. Hope that helps!

That explains it!!! My husband went to the consulate weeks back because we were expecting an approval soon. They never gave him the DS-230 only the DS-156, and that made me really confused. I assumed they forgot or something.

How did your process go about, I mean how did he get the interview date scheduled? Did he hand in the DS-156 instead of the DS-230?

Now I am really confused because I always heard about the DS-230 and now we have none!

Sorry for the late reply! He received the forms in the mail with the interview date on his cover letter. He just took the completed forms to the consulate on the date of his interview.

so what did she receive in packet-3....ds-230 or 156

Thought I read somewhere that the DS-230 was the thing NOT to hand in unless you were going back to your country of K3 approval origin for the approval of the 130?
