Does anyone know when the last visa was issued out of Moscow?
I was reading where the K1 have been delayed in Moscow since July. Have they
issued any visas tourists or otherwise since July? I am from Russia and have
been in the states 12 years.I was chatting with a person on line last night who
said they applied for a visa in July for their fiance and the fiancee would be
in the states today. I did not it was possible to get a visa that quickly from
Russia. I did not ask if it was a K1 or a tourist visa.

The best information I have is that no K-visas have been issued out of
Moscow since July 21. As I understand it other types of visas are
still being issued there but I have no evidence one way or the other
on that.
My Fiancee interviewed July 30 and we are still waiting. China is
also holding all family visas and the story is India is also althou I
read on this board of a K-visa being issued from there.
What is the real reason for the stoppage? I have no idea. They cite
9/11 and new security checks for the delays but that is just a cover
for what is really going on, whatever it is.
