i think i understand it better now. So once i marry and do my AOS the EAD is part of that process.
Do i need to book an appointment to hand in my application to the social security office or i just turn up?
And they want to see only my passport plus app form?

Yes.
Just turn up, anytime during their business hours.
SSN application, passport with K-1 visa inside, and I-94.

edited: i see it now, I-94 is stapled in my passport.
