Has anyone discussed PERM with his/her lawyer? I'm writing on behalf of a
friend who is trying to select a lawyer to start his GC process. He's trying
to educate himself as much as possible about it before he talks to lawyers.
I think PERM is a significant issue for all those trying to obtain an
employment-based GC, and the time between now and July (when PERM goes
online) is especially crucial, if the current process is more advantageous
to a prospective applicant. I would like to hear any and all ideas,
insights, or reports of discussions one has had with his/her lawyer about
this.
