Direct Consular Filing
Can anyone inform me if the US Embassy in Colombia accepts Direct Consular
Filing from non-residents?
I am a US citizen/resident planning a to trip to Colombia in mid-June to marry
my fiancée. I was hoping I can then submit the I-130 forms at the US Embassy in
Bogotá for her Visa and admittance into the US. I understand DCF is the fastest
way to obtain a spouse Visa, usually taking 2-8 weeks processing time, is this
true and correct?
Any help/assistance will be graetly appreciated.

You should contact the consulate and ask them directly. DCF can take
anywhere from 18 days (the shortest time I've read) to as much as 6
months. Some consulates are faster than others. Some allow "walk-ins" to
file the forms and others do not.
