Deciding between DCF and K1
Please give me your opinion which would be faster. I have a current I-129f at NSC with 1st NOA on 10/3/2002, or I could just do the marriage in Brazil and go with the DCF for the I-130. Which would be faster and less painless? Thanks for your experiences in this.

Re: Deciding between DCF and K1
As a rule, I think that DCF is usually quicker. I just did DCF in New
Zealand and the whole process lasted between 4-6 weeks. My husband now has
a visa to enter the US.
I don't have any knowledge of Brazil, but you might check out this website
for personal experience, additional info. http://k1.exit.com/dcf.html
Choose Experiences on the menu bar and then Brazil.
Good Luck

DCF is almost always better.

If you have been divorced then you want to go the K1 route, because you need a
lawyer to present your case to a Brazilian judge. This is just to get a
marriage license there.
