Curious! Second chance?
Hi it's been a year since I was on here and a lot has happened.
I was a k1 immigrant got married but it only lasted 5 years. I became a usc and have lived in florida for 20+ years. my question is somewhat hypothetical. There is a lady in uk that I knew years ago, and I would happily marry. But does my usa status entitle her to standard k1 procedure? Is there another option? Tbh it's not likely to happen, but I got thinking about technicalities and I don't recall this scenario on BE before! Not to mention Trump potential restrictions! Rich. |

Re: Curious! Second chance?
I agree. As long as you fit the guidelines in terms of finance and good behavior, there shouldn't be a problem. Nowhere does it state in the requirements that you have to be a natural born USC.

Are there any facts which cause you to question eligibility for K-1 status? You don’t say. As a general rule, questions cannot be answered without underlying facts.

Thank all. There are no underlying issues I know of, just thought it might be a non starter!
