We were also hoping to get married in April!!!! We got an RFE in December and had to submit another copy of Kem's divorce papers as the Judge's signature was missing from the original papers he sent.
Initially the online status told us that we would have to wait another 30 days for them to process our papers (it is now day 71 since we returned the divorce papers!) ..... that changed last week and now they say we will have to wait up to 235 days for them to verify the Judge's signature. I know that the online status is generally regarded as fiction ...... but that is all we have to go on! For every day that passes I worry that maybe they will lose our file or mislay some of the papers and that we will then get another RFE and have to wait another 235 days ...... where does it all end??!!
I have no idea of when we might be approved ...... Kem and I have given up on any kind of future planning, there simply is no point as it will only bring more heartache!
I would never have thought in my wildest dreams that Kem and I might have to wait more than a year to get through this process. We still have to face the possibility of my being denied a visa and the further wait that will be involved in filing for a Waiver.
I feel like *they* are playing with our lives. I have heard so many people say that the longer you have to wait just goes to prove how much you love each other ........ well, we do not need to prove to anyone how much we love each other!!

My partner is more than willing to spend a day outside the CSC ...... anyone else willing to give it a go, or shall we all just continue to wait and hope we hear something in the next 235 days?

Two days ago I started drafting the letter that I intend to send on my personal day 90, first to Congresswoman Anna Eshoo (the California representative that I think will be most sympathetic on this issue, whose "home base" is right here in my backyard) then later, if I have to, to Senator Barbara Boxer -- who I think will feel some competing loyalties from different constituencies, and Senator Dianne Feinstein-- aka Ms. Keep Even Innocent Students from Coming here on Visas Because they might be Terrorists When They Grow Up. In my letter, I intend to explain my situation and demand in the nicest language possible that CSC NOT be allowed to sit on these petitions, mine or anyone else's, in the same egregious manner as Texas was allowed to before the protests finally knocked something loose and certainly not for the 205+ day period CSC suggests it plans to. I'm good at nice letters =) Of course Anna, Barbara and/or Dianne might not care, but its a start. I'm prepared to not let it end there, even if I ultimately juggle balls in the air, fly to Oz and do DCF.
In direct answer to your question there is NO WAY I'm waiting the 150-80 days TSCer's did before I start exercising my free speech rights down at Laguna Niguel, let alone the 205-235 days for CSC shown on the website (my original notice says 34-64 days; that's my story and I'm going to do my level best to persuade CSC to stick as close possible to it . If someone wants to get the ball rolling, I will make time to fly down to SoCal for any organized protest. Unfortunately the demands of my work don't allow me to take the proverbial bull by the horns or I would. But I will gladly support any efforts and fly down if I can at all do so.
P.S. Found an approval with what appears to be an NOA-1 of 12/2: WAC0304951025 (approved 3/5). That was Good News. However, some I-129F's dating back to 11/22 still show as unapproved without an RFE: i.e WAC0304352008 (NOA-1 11/22). I guess the different officers down there work on their personal piles at seriously different paces.

Hi
As I am in the UK there is little I can do ...... I cannot even visit Kem right now as I am not allowed to use the VWP!! Anyway, I am going to ask my partner to contact you direct and see what you might be able to organise together.
I am hoping there might be some other people who would be interested in helping???!!!
Kem and I are close to a waiting time of 5 months since we first submitted the I-129F, with the possibility of having to wait another 5 months before we hear anything further! With respect to our RFE ....... after 30 days we seriously thought we would be hearing something any day ....... after 70 days we realised we could be waiting for ever. I guess what I am trying to say is that if anyone thinks they are going to approved any day soon so do not want to bother kicking up a fuss ......... think again!
And, Dekka's Angel, if only you and Kem are willing to attend a formal protest ........... so what, two people protesting at the CSC are better than none!! Besides, it might just be the case that the CSC will decide to process our petitions just so you and Kem will stop making the CSC grounds look untidy!

I wrote my Congressman, Senator(s) and even the President. If you want
to contact your represenatives I suggest you go to thier websites and
look up who in thier office is the Immigration Liason, then once you
have a name call directly to that person. The reason I suggest calling
first is none of them will act on your behalf until they have a signed
advocasy statement,(this allows them to act on your behalf) The phone
call to intiate the process will save some time, therby expiditing any
action they will take on your behalf.
The ulitimate answer I recieved from my Congressman's Liason was I'll
be waiting a "few months" I followed up the official Congressman's
written response by calling the Liason. What I did learn from her is
that some, but not all of the K-1 processors at CSC are back to work
on the K-1's and we should be seeing some movement, which we are
lately. What I'm getting at is, they are not back to full swing, so
don't be too calculating (hopefull) in near the future for our
approvals.
I'm interested in seeing the next Just In Time report, additionally
hearing about first hand knowledge of recent CSC approvals. This will
serve as a realistic measure to what progress the CSC is making with
respect to our cases. Good luck to all . lets stay in touch Again my
First NoA is 1/8/03 and Waiting for the second. Take Care

it was my birthday today...deep down i hoped something amazing would happen. but alas, no news
all i really wanted for my birthday was a hug from my honey, but there was really no chance for that one. i can't wait for life to be a little easier.

Dekka's birthday was last week and we'd sworn last year that this one we'd share on the same side of the world, so I know something of what you're feeling. But in the end when you guys are finally together it will feel like much smoother sailing.
For what it is worth, do try to have a Happy Birthday for the remainder.

Well Congratulations. I'm a bit jealous. My NOA1 Dec. 4. So maybe I'll
get some good news soon. It'll probably come the day before I leave
(March 21) to go back to Euroupe to see my finacee. So that'll tick
me off for having to spend another 2 grand for this trip. However it's
been 3 months since I've seen her and I just can't keep waiting on a
song and prayer that my petition will get approved within the next
couple of weeks.
A person I know who is engaged to one of my fiancee's girlfriends
called me yesterday to let me know that he received his 2nd NOA on
Feb. 28
from the CSC (he's been out of town for a couple of weeks on business
and just got back). His first NOA was dated November 5th. So it seems
they're working in the Nov to mid Dec. range.
