The date of our first NOA is 29th Nov - still not started processing it
yet - when we called they said it would be the end of March when they
started processing ours. I keep checking every day though, just in case!

I'm glad somebody started this thread, we're at 85 days with the CSC and I really need some support from others in the same boat... it's starting to feel hopeless...
NOA1 - November 27th, 2002
NOA2 - ?????
I read on a messageboard that someone with a 1st NOA of November 21st was approved on February 11th, so the process seems to be moving (very) slowly but surely... but sometimes it's just so hard to wait without knowing...

End of March???????
Greatt.......
OK that estimate if true would put me firmly into April before they even take my application off the shelf for the first time to tell me if I made a mistake in it, let alone anything substantive. /sigh
Caller, did they say why? Inquiring minds want to know..... (what lie they will make up this time since they lied through their teeth at me and rudely at that when I called last month).
I-129F Sent to CSC: 12/16/02
Received: 12/18/02
NOA-1: 12/20/02
Still waiting....(I just keep going, and going, and going.....)

Rough dates
Nov. 27th Sent I-129F to CSC via certified express mail (a touch overkill)
Nov. 29th date of receipt (expect 34-64 days)
Jan 30th expected wait time changed to 205-235 days. Spoke with CSC employee. They said it was still on the shelf, and that it would likely be 10 weeks, and to call back after that. Also said it would likely go pretty quick "...once they started processing again."
Jan 31st - Feb 10th visited my sweety.
Earlier in Feb sweety got through on phone. They said might be off the shelf at the end of March.
A few days ago I wrote to my congressman.
Now we wait.

Re: CSC K-1 RollCall
My first NOA was 1/17/03. Nothing since. The original letter says
34-64 days (it's been 34 days today), but the online status and
telephone status both say 205-235 days.
I did see a post yesterday or the day before from someone who saw a
post about someone else approved on Feb 4th with a first NOA after
11/19..... but there's so many levels of indirection there, I'm
thinking I'll just have to wait another two weeks for the next report.

Thanks, everyone, for sharing your information! I guess I'm taking a bit of solace in that fact that mine is one of the older NOA 1s on here, so hopefully we're coming up soon!
I can't believe they told you guys the end of march on the phone! That's just crazy, especially considering they seem to be working on petitions from Nov. 21-22...??? Who knows though... nothing makes much sense in this process! haha
Where is everyone from? I'm from Alberta, Canada and my fiance, Matt, is a Californian. Nice to meet you all...

Thanks Steve!
I added my info. If you get enough participants, it could be a handy tool.
I'm in CA, and Lindsey is in UK.

Got through on the phone!
The lady I spoke with, while not in the division that processes the I-129Fs (default answer for more direct questions I think), said:
...She believed they were taking petitions off the shelf - slowly, but most of the people in the department likely still had stacks on their desks.
...She believed they were finishing up the TPSs (don't know what that is exactly, but it is apparently one source of the hold up) and starting on the I-129Fs again.
...That a change of address within CSC jurisdiction should be handled over the phone (mail takes forever) and won't affect processing times, while out of jurisdiction would. Yeah, I know most of you didn't ask about moving, but if it saves anyone from wasting 30-60 minutes on hold, it's worth posting.
...That I was still likely going to be taken care of pretty quickly, and to try back at the end of March.
...And that they were switching to the National phone number in April.
...She also had my last call on file. Wonder if it says I was cranky...
Good luck all!

Re: CSC K-1 RollCall
My 1st NOA dated Dec 4th. My Fiancee is from Ukraine. I was able to
go see her again over the Christmas and New Years. I've now had to
plan another trip for the end of March. I'll have her meet me in
Turkey for a week. This is getting expensive but I can't really go
with out seeing her for more than 3 months at a time. I'm really
hoping I'll have my second NOA by mid April so that she'll at least
get here by mid June. I love California but I wished I lived in the
New England states for this visa purpose.
