Default CR1/2: PR cards in 25 days

Just a little update, maybe someone was looking for such info:

25 days after entry through Newark Liberty on CR1/2 visas we received our Permanent Resident cards in the mail.

They were sent in an unmarked envelope from Mesquite, Texas.

Two 'welcome letters' for the CR2 and one welcome letter for the CR1 arrived seperately that same day. A few days earlier each had already received a welcome letter.

Hey Elaine

Congratulations to you and your family. Glad to see everything went nice and smooth for you. I'm sure you're glad it's over for a while?

Best wishes

Maggie

Ahhhhhhh....
I think I hear the Sigh of Completion from out here

Congrats, girls. Don't forget to carry them on your persons at all times!

Now, did someone say 'fishing license'?

Fantastic news. All that's missing would be SSN and then it's a long break from paperwork.
