CR-1 going home for Xmas? Am I OK?
Hi everyone!
I was granted a CR-1 permanent resident in March, and am currently making plans to return home to England for three weeks at Xmas. Can anyone tell me if there are any restrictions/time limits etc that may be imposed on me? I certainly don't want to be "locked out" when I return to the US!
Thank you everyone.

As long as you have the I-551 stamp in your passport, or your green card, you're good to go, as far as I know. A 3-week vacation shouldn't be any problem.
Have fun!

In addition to Rene's comments: be sure that you re-enter the U.S.
before the temporary stamp in your passport expires if your plastic card
doesn't come before you leave.
