Then start - send in the I-130. You have control over that part, so don't cause yourself unnecessary delay.

Hi, Just an update We filed the I-130 last Tuesday

Any idea how long it takes to receive notification from the embassy?

Never. However, notification from USCIS should come in a couple of weeks.
