Default can I visit my fiancee in the states?

I am waiting for an interview right now. They said it will take 3 to
12 weeks. I remember I sent it out around early June. I am still
waiting on it. Will it really take up to 12 weeks?

I want to go visit him... Is it true that I really taking a risk going
visit him?

Thanks

No more risk than any other time, I'd say. Just bring proof of your ties to your home country so that the POE office won't think you have intent to immigrate. If you get notified of your interview date, you might have to rush back home for it earlier than you had planned.

Best Wishes,
Rene
