calling to check on FBI clearance/fingerprinting processing
Hi, I think I've seen people say they called the FBI, to check on
their fingerprinting results. Is it still possible to do so, and what
# do you call, and what questions do they ask?

304 625 5590. They need the "A" number, approximate date of INS request and a return phone number. The will NOT tell you the results, unless it was for unclassfiable prints, but they will tell you when the report was sent back to INS.

Does this also apply to the clearance the embassy requests from Washington DC? Before my husband can get an interview date, he has to have clearance from Washington.
