Hi ... I submitted my paperwork for my I-485 and I-765 together and
received a receipt date of Oct 26th. The Biometrics request came for
the I-485 three weeks ago and I have subsequently gone and had the bios
completed for the 485. From peoples experience, does it take longer for
the I765 Biometrics appt to be scheduled, or should I be calling to
find out the status and check up on them? I know that the Nebraska
service center processing date for my application has not yet passed (I
think they are at the beginning of October now), so I am not sure
whether I should be concerned ... or just patient.

Thoughts ?

Hi Salinator,

I have a friend who also did his I-485 fingerprinting, but is taking longer to receive the I-765 biometrics appointment. He's in NYC, and I think is going for an Infopass appointment this week. Not sure what the outcome will be.

Just wondering why you are checking Nebraska Service Center timelines? NSC doesn't process any of your applications. For the I-485, you'll check your local office (whatever city that is), and for the I-765/I-131 you'll check National Benefits Center timelines. https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/js...d=aHTZxQeMFvp8
