Well,interview and medical over (29th march).Just like eveyone said as long as you have all the relevent paperwork there is nothing to worry about.Our interview process was much the same as most in london,very easy,took about an hour in total in the embassy,waited for a while,handed over our paperwork to window 1.paid our fee,sat down,got called to window 13,spoke with a very nice american lady,she didn't ask us any questions,just took fingerprints,mentioned that we were using assets to sponser,then said "right you can go get your medical now" "is that it then?" was our reply."yes you don't need to come back here now".How easy was that.We expect the green card and visa to arrive shortly.

All the worry is created by ourselves, but we will do it at most stages of this long process. Human nature I suppose. Any idea when your off?

I thought it was kinda like loosing your virginity it takes forever to get there and it's over before you know it.

We are off in about 8 weeks,depending on it all falling into place.Passport with visa attatched came today including the brown envelope.What's inside?

A bunch of your immigration paperwork that they will examine at the POE. Whatever you do, do NOT open it! It's to be opened at the POE by an officer only!

I nearly opened the envelope through excitement,lucky i lifted the white a4 piece of paper with my picture on and read the "do not open" written underneath...
