Being that London aren't responding to emails, what is the best way to contact them? Their call centre is in Glasgow, and nothing really to do with the embassy. Anyone had any experiences with old fashioned Royal Mail to them?! I really was hoping to get an interview before June 1st because of university.

London ARE responding - see my earlier post. The Glasgow call centre are very good - I phoned them on Saturday and they were very helpful. I can't see why you claim they are nothing to do with the embassy.

Well, I haven't had an email from London, and it has been over 3 weeks of emailing them too. I will call the £1.30 line again today. Hopefully today will be the day!

Well, i'm glad for you. But on a pure selfish level, I can't help thinking, "bastards!"

By the way, "bastards" being the London Embassy, not you!

Hi Ant
We filed I130 (DCF) London on 11 May, credit card debited 14th May....similar to yours. On checking back to other fairly recent posts with London DCF timelines 12 days seemed to be the average for receiving the acknowlegement/approval letter, but that was a few months ago. Perhaps they have fallen behind a bit lately. Hope you hear soon.

Hi folks.

I too am appplying DCF. I sent my I-130 off on Monday 24th May with a
SAE. the application was returned to me on Thursday 27th May as my
step-mother's credit card had been declined (I'm uncertain as to
whether this was to do with the fact it was not my credit card as
she's got loads of credit). Anyways I applied for an international
bank draft from Nat west which took 2 days to arrive and I reposted my
application off on Saturday 29th May. I don't expect to hear back just
yet.

I have all my sponsorship forms signed and notarised (my husband's
wife is my joint sponsor). I applied for my police clearance
certificate on the 19th May and received a letter on the 21st May
stating that it would take a maximum of 40 days (I went through Essex
Police).

I ended up posting here because I was checking for timelines. So
Please if you do have recent timelines for DCF London can you put them
up.

Incidentally I read this at the US Embassy DHS section.
"Processing Time for I-130 or I-360: This office is currently
adjudicating I-130's or I-360's within 5-6 weeks of the date of
receipt. Please refrain from contacting us during that time for status
checks. Your cooperation will help ensure that we maintain our
exceptional processing times."

So I will be sitting waiting fingers crossed.

I did wonder about that

The 5-6 week turnaround for the I130 isn't far off at the moment as you can see from my timeline and as regards emails to the embassy, I've had fairly fast and very helpful responses to any email I've sent.
