Hey guys,
I'm back with another question (hopefully my last), but I was just wondering...can I attend the interview at the US Embassy in London with my fiance? We hadn't thought that I would be able to attend, but as it happens, his interview will fall during the time that I will be visiting him there.
If I am able to attend, what do I need to do before going? Is there some sort of registration I'll need to do? Documents I'll need to bring?
Thank you all for your expert advice, it has helped me and my fiance so much.

Hijacking this thread with similar question. Husband's visa interview at 8 am next Friday and we added my name to accompany him. Only problem is that I would need to bring along our 3 month old baby (no childcare available)
So I got the brilliant (or perhaps supremely bad) idea of killing two birds with one stone, and going for our son's passport the same morning. The passport appointment is at 8:30. I'll be cutting it close because will need to drop off other child at childcare and get train into London.
My questions: since I now won't be present with my husband when he actually goes through Embassy security, do I need to update them?
And: I can't remember if the queue for US citizen services is first come, first served or based on your appointment time. If I show up at 8:20, will I be bumped to head of queue since my appointment's at 8:30?
Finally: is it really stupid to try to do both things at once? I just want to be physically there in case ConOff has any questions, although there's no reason to think it won't be straightforward (this site has helped me prepare so much)
It's all a little fussy and overcomplicated, but that's the reality when you have small kids and live far from family. Hence a big reason for us wanting to head back to US.

If you turn up at 8.20 for 8.30 appointment you'll have a long
wait. Got there at 7 this morning and was waiting for main
interview at 8.20 meanwhile there were around 500 people
outside queuing and half as many in the waiting room with
numbers. Got out before 9am.
Get to the embassy as early as possible and you'll save a lot of waiting.
