Asset based I-864 completion

Asset based I-864 completion
I've had very good advice here before, so hope you can help again! My wife is a USC and we've been living and working in the UK now for 13 years together. We've decided to take the plunge and move to SC, and are now at the packet three stage of the visa.
Looking at the I-864 we obviously can't use our incomes here, but we have enough cash to meet the three times poverty limit * 125% rule, on top of equity from the house sale. (goes on the market this week). Do we show no income on the form, and then split our joint cash and property assets between the sponsor part and the immigrant part? Also, my wife has filed tax returns for the past three years and we've had confirmation of receipt from the IRS office in London. Do we need to show the figures from the tax returns on the I-864, even though it was income earned here?
I'd be most grateful to hear from anyone who has filed a completely asset based I-864, because both parties were in the UK at the time of applying.
TIA!

S_I,
I didn't go asset based, but I'll give you my thoughts anyway to consider or ignore.
Cash is king, your in the best possible position if your cash alone is enough to make up for the income deficiency.
Equity is the house is iffy, and will be considered as such unless, perhaps, you're really conservative with your estimate, which you can afford to be given your cash position.
Yes, show the figures from the tax returns, adjusting out the foreign-earned income adjustment. It shows what your wife is capable of earning, which gives a warm fuzzy feeling that's better than nothing.
