Default AP Reporting H-1B Cap Hit

The Associated Press is reporting that USCIS has enough cases in the pipeline to reach the H-1B cap, and that the agency will stop accepting H-1B filings immediately. However, no notice to this effect has been issued, and no details have been provided by USCIS.

My ass...millions of unemployed Americans will continue sitting on their asses and blindly sending out resumes as they see all their jobs sent overseas to India, China, Israel and the like...

Outsourcing is a far greater threat to employment and to this country in general than the H1B will ever be.

I lost my job in early 2002, and another one in late 2002.

Why? The employer couldn't get enough good people in the US, so they just
laid them all off and moved operation to India.

H-1Bs not being available is a far bigger threat to American jobs!
