My fianc=E9e and I will be married next Thursday in Los Angeles =
Courthouse :-)
I am wondering what is the best way and where is the best place to apply =
for AOS and EAD?
Also, how can I obtain a Social Security Card for her?

You should get the SSN before getting married.

Otherwise, you will likely have to wait until you file for AOS and get =
the EAD card.

(This is not a revelation or a secret......that information has been =
floating on these groups for years now.)

Sean,

People mentioned in the NG in the past that getting an EAD in LA can be a hassle. They recommended using the free legal clinic that is just next door. I am just passing around the information and I am not living in LA, so I have no experience with it.

If the non US Citizen entered on a K-1 visa, get the SS card before
marriage if you really need it fast.

Regarding AOS and EAD, you don't get a choice of the place of filing.
Where you file depends on where you live. What do you mean the "best
way"?
