Always planned on a blessing at some point. Doesn't look as if that will happen now though.

Well, I hope your isn't for the same reason as mine. It looks as if I shall be getting a divorce instead. Not as bad as it sounds, we are still on relatively good terms (i.e.: not at each other throats).

We just had a potentially irrevocable loss of faith somewhere along the line.

i'm sorry to hear that :(

no, it's not for the same reason. just money reasons. maybe we will still get a blessing, but i can't see it happening this year at least.

I hoped that it was financial reasons (as opposed to being the same as mine)

I'm sure that when you do have the blessing, that it will be just PERFECT!

I did leave with AP whilst my AOS was pending after entering as a VWT. Urgent reason = court case in the UK

I was a week short of the 180 days when I filed for AOS. In my case all went well but I would have preferred not to have had to have left, if that had been a resonable option. I was in the UK for over 6 months, had to reschedule my first AOS interview.

You name it, it was messed up..lol
I will chip in also.
I was Married on an Overstay and a Visa Waiver....I had never even met my Hubby in person.
Yes it does happen and I also got legal advice regarding the AP and was told to wait until the stamp in passport but it would be very surprising if they refused me at the POE with such a short Overstay, but having said that I would not risk it.
If it makes you feel any better I asked 3 Immigration Lawyers and also a IO at Chicago Immigration Dept face to face.
Get those papers in ASAP
