Hi all been a while since I posted been busy since arriving in the USA as most of you know arrived in September on K1 visa. Just a quick update on my AOS filed on December 3rd and have biometrics on 12/28 so moving along nicely only downside so far took my driving test and passed yippeeeee but they only gave me a licence dated till my I-94 expires and they wont renew till I have paperwork to prove I have adjusted my status
but apart from that all is well and i would again just like to say ty to all that helped me through all the early pocesses to getting to where we are today. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas know I will in the sun

Lucky you! I was supposed to get biometrics done on Monday but the centre was closed due to the snow. You'd think they would automatically reschedule the appointment but no, I have to write in explain my absence (to a centre that was closed) and request another!

Started in Chicago because that's where the mail receiving facility is located. Clerks will deposit the fee payment and assemble the submitted application and supporting documents into a case file.
From Chicago the file is sent to the NBC in Missouri (not Kansas) for preliminary review, then from the NBC it will be sent to the appropriate District or Sub office for interview and decision.
