hehehe thanks everyone, got to tell my parents today in a long phone call home what was going on......dont think they quite understand the whole process but they seem to know its a good thing lol
Now i just need to get some rest as my little sister has been diagnosed with swine flu and for two days ive been very ill as well, uh oh!

so here is my AOS timeline:
24th Aug - USCIS recieved my AOS package, AP form and EAD form.
30th Aug - I recieved NOAs saying recieved
30th Sept - AP and EAD NOAS saying approved (37 days from sending off application)
5th Oct - AP arrives
8th Oct - EAD arrives
23rd Oct - AOS application approved, card production ordered (60 days from sending application)
2nd Nov - Conditional Permenant Resident Card arrives! (70 days from sending application)
The card doesnt look at nice as the EAD but im happy to finally have it, will need to apply for SSN now.
