AOS Interview question

Hi all,
My AOS interview is on Monday at Greer, SC, and I've got a quick question.
If Emily and I take any 'proof of relationship' evidence with us, do we
necessarily have to take copies too? We wanted to take the wedding photo
album, but we can't afford to have copies made of every single photo to
give away to the INS. I remember from my K-1 interview that they kept some
photos.
In short: if we take something to the interview, will the INS automatically
keep it?
Thanks in advance,
Dave and Emily

Well, again my experience: the INS officer looked at the
pictures in the album, and gave it back. They do not take
the album, in fact that would be insane.

They looked over our wedding albums, but they didn't take any of our
photographs.

INS looked at our wedding album but did not take any pics. He asked
if he could keep the copy of my husband's pension plan showing me as
beneficiary and as well some document showing my son and I as being on
his medical benefits. After that he asked for a copy of one of our
cheques showing both our names on it and since we needed an extra ADIT
photo said for me to send the copy of the cheque in with the photo.
Changed his mind on that and said to forget the cheque, he had enough
proof in the file, just to either send or walk in the extra ADIT
photo.

In my case, I went to Kinkos and made color copies of about ten pictures. Three pictures on each sheet of paper at $1.07 per page. It cost less than $5.00 and the interviewer was happy with that.

Thanks to all who answered. What you've advised is pretty much what we'd
thought/planned to do, but it's always best to check with reliable sources
first!
Wish us luck!
