Here goes!
I have just received a appointment letter for the AOS interview which is less than 4 weeks away. On the letter it says that I need to bring a police report from the Uk.
Problem is i dont have a police report from the Uk. When I came here on the VWP I had no intentions on staying, hence had no police report.
I read a few months ago that you dont need a police report if your doing aos package, if thats the case then why are they asking for one on this letter?
Thanks for your time and thoughts in advance.

I don't know if that's standard verbage on the AOS interview letter. My husband came over on a K-1, so he had a police report.
All I can say is that if the Officer asks you for a police report or court records at your AOS interview, it's best if you have them to show. Of course, if you don't have them on that day, she will give you time to get them after the interview.

Yeah I have a dui from around 2000 and speeding/careless driving charges.
Also got arrested for being drunk and dissorderly and spend a night locked up.
With the appointment letter I received there was a white letter telling me about the police report form i need to bring.
Is this normal?

I would say that is normal, yes.
You were not required to submit a police report along with the AOS paperwork, but if you are requested to bring one to the AOS interview, then you must comply.
Did you check the correct boxes on your AOS forms, indicating that you've been arrested? That could also have led to the requirement to bring in evidence of such.

I think now, for you, the bigger issue is that you've lied on the AOS form by checking "no". But, it remains to be seen what will happen at the AOS interview. You might want to consider consulting with an immigration attorney who can attend the interview with you, to make sure things go as well as possible for you.
Why are you going back to the UK soon? You mean before your interview? Are you going to abandon the AOS process? Or are you just assuming you won't pass the AOS interview, and will be removed from the USA?
If I were in your shoes, I'd get the police report and court records from back home, and I'd hire an attorney to be present at my AOS interview. You came this far, might as well see it through, before deciding what will happen.

Hire an attorney? I have filed over 150 job applications. I have even tried mcdonalds and burger king. Hiring an attorney is not an option.
Im not saying im giving up but this has been going on so long now that i have lost intrest. Having a EAD card and not being able to get a job sucks.
To get the police report I need to get photos signed, cant do this as im in the US. Cant leave the US as ill be on a 3 year ban.

I didn't realize you had overstayed long enough to incur a ban if you leave. I take it you didn't apply for Advance Parole so you could take trips outside the USA?
I don't know anything about obtaining UK police reports, but I'm others must have done so from inside the USA. Hopefully one of those people will post here.

I am preparing for a marriage AOS interview next week and there was a boilerplate letter requesting criminal court records starting as follows:
"Notice to Applicant: If you have ever been arrested or detained by any law enforcement officer for any reason, you must bring the following ..."
This has been enclosed with the notices for the past 10 months or so.
Go to the interview and see what happens. The worst that might happen is that they give you an "I-72" RFE.

Its a standard form that they are sending with the AOS interview, its not specific to you! I got one on Monday with my AOS interview letter - its a "fishing" letter, if you have an issue then disclose it as they might already know about it and you will be penalized for lying. If you haven't done anything wrong then ignore it; don't take it personally
Good luck
David
I looked at my letter - I am no expert (God knows I hope that I don't have to go through this again) but it seems that the actual interview letter is a standard word processed letter and the text on the extra letter concerning arrests etc, will eventually make it on to that letter! Its cheaper to send out an extra piece of paper than have the AOS interview stock re-printed with the additional guidance.
Half of the stuff on the AOS interview letter does not apply to me, the requirements on the extra letter don't either.
Another thought is that if you answered "no" in the original application, and they found something in their background checks, they would have issued an RFE about it rather than an AOS interview letter!
I would agree that speeding and careless driving etc are not deal breakers but the DUI you mentioned, that's an American term, did this happen in the US or the UK? If the US then that is really important because they will find out about it.

Good luck
