AOS Interview Letter
How is it that some receive their AOS interview letter only a few months after initial filing and others wait few years? is there any rational behind that?

Yes. It depends on the backlog and processing times of each local district office. Here in Phoenix, Arizona for example, it took 16 months to have our AOS interview. Someone I know in Bakersfield, California got theirs in 4 months. Both scenarios were K-1 entrants from the same foreign country, arriving in the USA within a few weeks of each other. Just depends on the local office.

Guess thats the million dollar question isnt it? Who knows how it all works & when dealing with this immigration process anythings possible
